ESPOCH APPROVES NEW REGULATIONS OF THE DEAN OF RESEARCH

Riobamba, February 4, 2025 - In an ordinary session of the Polytechnic Council of the Higher Polytechnic School of Chimborazo (ESPOCH), held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, Resolution 057.CP.2025 was approved, by which the new Regulations of the Deanship of Research of the Higher Polytechnic School of Chimborazo are issued. This regulation establishes the guidelines for the management, organization and operation of the Dean of Research, with the purpose of strengthening research. Furthermore, it is aimed at guaranteeing the coordination of research with teaching, links with society and technological development. The update of the regulations responds to the need to optimize research processes at ESPOCH, encouraging the participation of teachers and students in high-impact projects. It also seeks to improve resource management and strengthen scientific production in indexed journals and other academic dissemination media.
